Mr. Confer goes to Mountain View

We’re pleased to announce that Confer is among seven companies selected to participate in Microsoft’s first ever SharePoint SocialFest, a one week competition meant to promote adoption and development of their industry-leading SharePoint product. Microsoft recently released the public beta of SharePoint 2010, receiving high accolades for its rapid business application development platform.

We’ll be spending a week on the MSFT Silicon Valley Campus beginning January 25th, and will receive around the clock SharePoint development and engineering expertise and assistance. Once the dust has settled, we’ll get the opportunity to present to a tier one group of venture investors, Fortune 500 customers and SharePoint/E2.0 experts.

Clearly, we’re excited to take part in this event. Microsoft’s focus on business productivity aligns well with our goal to simplify the way people communicate in the workplace.

We’re a member of Microsoft’s BizSpark program and have been extremely pleased with MSFT’s commitment to enabling and supporting software startups.

More updates as we prepare for the event…
